Monate Game Lodge

A distinguished group of high ranking delegates from Liberty Life spent 3 days conferencing in the comfort of our lounge.  One guest chose to land his plane on our airstrip for his convenience - luckily it was still in tact after the 3 days were over, obviously no-one had told Max our Rhino that there was a new scratching post around!  Unfortunately Blik & Sem, our Cheetah brothers, were removed during their stay, but there were sparks of interest in Lauren’s Brown Hyena Project.  On the whole, the group worked very hard and enjoyed the kitchen’s excellent cuisine, with promises to return!

Monate welcomes guests with open arms to relish in the peace & harmony that Mother Nature offers.  Combined with interesting game drives by professional rangers, a horse trail perhaps, and of course Excellent Cuisine, builds life long memories!

Monate takes great pride in the fact that guests keep coming back to enjoy our magic.  Some of the group had an exciting trip by helicopter, landing on our pad at our landing strip.  A fantastic cave dinner and morning cheetah tracking drive made it a memorable adventure for all.

The Nokia Siemens Networks CSI Team had fun-filled teambuilding at Monate hosted by Blue Hat!  The day began with an informal presentation, followed by clay pigeon shooting, whacky events, potjie making competition and finally cocktail concoctions!!!  To end their getaway from the concrete world, they enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the cave with breathtaking views to behold.

Ford SA hosted by Outdoor Active Getaways had their 6th & final booking at Monate.  It was a very memorable occassion indeed!

Once again, Monate hosted Ford’s elite guests on their 4 x 4 getaway. They have become part of the family and it’s hard to believe that we only have one booking left! At least we’ve made friends for life. Don’t go far everyone, bring your families to enjoy the Monate Magic!

Yolande from Mjunxtion organised an educational for various travel agents & event organisers to experience Monate’s high level of service and excellent cuisine. The ladies & gentlemen had a splendid game drive, a mouthwatering cave dinner and breakfast fit for a king, before touring Monate’s rooms, luxury tents, conference centre & other facilities. We’re waiting for your calls and look forward to a long, healthy working relationship with each of you.  Thank you for the wonderful feedback!

Monate het weereens ‘n groep van Ford SA ontvang laas naweek.  Van die nuutste 4×4 Ford voertuie is op die toets gestel by die naburige Serendipity 4×4 roete.

Ons bekende ‘bees-stert’ potjie was een van die gunstelinge, bedien in ons natuurlike grot.

Gaste geniet ‘n drankie onder ons ‘Marula’ boom op die reservaat.

Die Monate Span

Monate hosted yet another unforgetable weekend for Ford SA guests.  This time a few adventurous ladies showed off their driving skills on the nearby 4×4 route - go girls!!!

As most of the guests mentioned the highlight of the weekend was the Cheetah Project,  Blik and Sim are both doing very well!

As always promises of future returns were made, we hope to see all of you again soon

Monate was lucky enough to be visited by a few lovely couples and families over the worker’s day long weekend.

The weekend started of as usual with sundowners and a game drive with the exception of an exciting discovery of a new baby hippo!

Unfortunately the weather did not play along but that didn’t detour our brave guests….

Monate staff spoiled each & every guest with peace of mind & total relaxation this past long weekend.  Kids were entertained by Coco, Halo & Bambi frolicking through the gardens and around the trampolines.  Fine dining and Dombeya wines kept guests content.  Lauren & Keith captivated the guests during their adventurous game drives, morning & evening.
