Monate private game reserve is set in 1839 hectares of bush, open plains and a variety of interesting koppies – home to leopard, cheetah, rhino, buffalo, crocodile, hippo, giraffe, zebra, brown hyena and a large variety of antelope.

Our professional & enthusiastic Game Rangers keep guests intrigued during early morning & afternoon game drives, exploring the various habitats & their many inhabitants. Being close to Nylsvley Nature Conservancy, home to 46% of the bird species in South Africa, sightings are prolific.
