The private game reserve is set in 1839 hectares. It is home to leopard, cheetah, hippopotamus, rhino, brown hyena, giraffe and jackal as well as a wide variety of antelope such as kudu, eland, waterbuck and nyala.

Birdlife is prolific, with many rare specimens including fish eagle, the endangered black heron, grass owl and fiery necked nightjars to name but a few.
