ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

What to bring?

Comfortable closed shoes for activities or bush dinner venues.
Warm jacket for winter & afternoon game drives.
Rain coat for Summer (rain season).
Swimming Costume & Sun Block.
Binoculars, Camera/Video Camera.
Sweets & Snacks (we do not have a tuck shop on the premises, nearest town 45kms).

Child Policy

Monate is Child Friendly.
0 – 2 Year old children to share with parents at no extra charge, but are not permitted to join game drives.
3 – 11 Year old children either sharing a room with their parents or in a separate room will be charged at 50% of the adult rate, which includes meals, accommodation and game drives.
Children from 12 years old will require a separate room at the adult rate.
Baby sitting facilities available (please enquire at reception) at an extra charge.
For any special children’s meals/times please arrange before arrival.

Game Drives

Children under the age of 2 are not permitted on game drives.
Game Drive times differ according to seasons (please contact reception for more information).

Entry

Our Main Gate is open from 08h00 – 17h00. Please be advised that there will be a gate guard for pre-arranged arrivals & departures.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be held liable for an extra charge for any unscheduled / late arrivals.
